Report on Ordinance No.. .32... of 191/.
I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled
"An Ordinance to amend and codify the law as to the
Interpretation of Terms and as to Common Forms used in
Ordinance."
I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's
actions.
This Ordinance has been drafted by the Editor now engaged
on the Revision of the Ordinances. The reasons for its introduction
are fully set out in the attached Memorandum with by His Honour the Chief Justice, the Editor appointed for Revision under Ordinance No. 19 of 1911. This Ordinance will very much faciletate the re- viston of the laws and will be followed in due course by a Law Re- vision Ordinance based on the principas laid down in it which will weed out a considerable mass of useless matter. A schedule is attach- ed shewing the source of its various sections.
